Day-by-Day Itinerary

  1. 1

    Haridwar to Guptkashi

    Drive along Mandakini river to Guptkashi base.

  2. 2

    Trek to 1st Kedar: Shri Kedarnath Dham (3,584m)

    Trek up from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. Evening Aarti inside sanctum.

  3. 3

    Kedarnath to Ransi Village (Base of Madhyamaheshwar)

    Descend to Sonprayag and drive to Ransi traditional stone village.

  4. 4

    Trek to 2nd Kedar: Shri Madhyamaheshwar (3,497m)

    16 km trek through dense oak forest and Gaundar waterfall to Madhyamaheshwar.

  5. 5

    Budha Madhyamaheshwar Sunrise & Descent to Ransi

    Early morning hike to Budha Kedar for Chaukhamba reflection lake view. Trek back to Ransi.

  6. 6

    Ransi to Chopta & 3rd Kedar: Shri Tungnath (3,680m)

    Drive to Chopta. Trek to the highest Shiva temple on earth and Chandrashila.

  7. 7

    Chopta to Sagar Village & Trek to Panar Bugyal

    Drive to Sagar village. Trek 12 km through alpine meadows of Panar Bugyal with Trishul view.

  8. 8

    Panar Bugyal to 4th Kedar: Shri Rudranath (2,286m)

    Trek across Pitradhar to the mysterious natural rock cave temple of Rudranath (Lord Shiva's face).

  9. 9

    Rudranath to Helang / Urgam Valley

    Trek down through Anusuya Devi dense forest to Mandal village and drive to Urgam.

  10. 10

    5th Kedar: Shri Kalpeshwar (2,200m) & Return to Haridwar

    Short walk to Kalpeshwar cave temple where Lord Shiva's Jata (hair) is worshipped. Complete Panch Kedar Mahayajna and return drive.
